1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use Lookupfy:
- → Account data: name, email address, hashed password
- → Payment data: handled securely by Dodo Payments — we never store card details
- → Usage data: domains you search, timestamps, search history
- → Technical data: IP address, browser type, device info
2. How We Use Your Information
- → To provide and operate the Lookupfy service
- → To send OTP verification and transactional emails via Resend
- → To process payments and manage subscriptions
- → To track and enforce search credit limits
- → To improve the service and fix bugs
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with:
- → Dodo Payments — to process your subscription and top-up payments
- → Whoxy API — domain queries are sent to retrieve DNS data
- → Resend — to deliver transactional emails to your inbox
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Search logs are retained for 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us and we will process it within 30 days.
5. Cookies
Lookupfy uses only essential session cookies required for authentication and security. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Security
We take security seriously. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. OTP codes expire after 10 minutes. We regularly review our security practices to protect your data.
